BRIEF: Mt. Lions move practice to Rio Linda High [The Sacramento Bee, Calif.]
Aug. 27--The Sacramento Mountain Lions will practice Saturday at Rio Linda High School.
Head coach Dennis Green temporarily moved training camp because the school's field has turf similar to that at Sac State, where the Mountain Lions will play their home games.
Saturday's training camp is in two sessions: 8:45-10:30 a.m. and 2:30-3:45 p.m.
"In the morning we'll practice all aspects, and in the afternoon we'll do a mock game," said Green. "(The high school is) easy for fans to get to, if people want to come out and watch."
Admission and parking are free.
On Monday, the team resumes its workouts at Harvard Corporate Center.
The Mountain Lions kick off their UFL season with an away game at Hartford on Sept. 18. The first home game is at 8 p.m. Sept. 25 against Florida.
