Assurant Solutions to Expand Oregon Wireless Service Center, Create 56 New Jobs
ALBANY, Ore., Dec. 3 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Assurant Solutions, a leading global provider of extended service contracts and protection programs, today announced plans to create up to 56 new jobs at its customer service center in Albany. The company is adding customer service representatives and a trainer at the Albany center as part of a consolidation of customer service resources that support its wireless protection business. The Albany center, located at 1880 14th Ave. SE, currently employs 183.The service representative positions require a minimum of six months of previous customer service experience. Candidates need to have excellent customer service and communications skills and knowledge or experience using a computer and the Internet. Bilingual capability is a plus. Rebecca Spencer, director of call center operations, said Assurant Solutions selected the Albany site for this expansion because of the region's high quality workforce and because the service center can accommodate a larger staff.
