Assurant Solutions and SCI Bolster Partnership

Assurant Solutions reported the renewal of its exclusive distribution partnership with Service Corp. International (SCI).

The new 10-year agreement runs until 2024.

According to a release, through the partnership, Assurant Solutions will continue to offer customers through SCI's network of more than 1,600 funeral homes several ways to fund expenses in advance of need.

"We've built a mutually successful relationship with SCI through the years, and we look forward to continuing to partner with them to provide individuals and their families with the peace of mind that comes with preneed insurance," said Tammy Schultz, president of Assurant Solutions' preneed business.

"Offering people the ability to plan and pre-pay for their funeral expenses is important for our customers and allows them to protect loved ones from additional financial burdens during a time of grief," said Steve Tidwell, senior vice president of sales for SCI.
