Aspiria Corp. Announces Acquisition of LINK Employee Assistance Professionals Inc.
Expansion Increases Opportunity for Greater Market Share in Rapidly Changing Industry by Creating a More Robust, Psychological Support System for Companies and their Employees.
Toronto, Canada, July-16-07 – Aspiria Corp., a national EAP provider in the field of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and LINK Employee Assistance Professionals Inc., an Ontario-based regional provider of EAPs, today jointly announced the merger of the two companies.
“We are very excited by this significant coming together of our respective organizations and work together toward our shared vision,” said Charles Benayon, President & Founder of Aspiria. “With LINK’s focus on servicing small to mid-size companies and Aspiria’s scope in the national arena, this merger firmly positions Aspiria as a niche player in an EAP market that has been looking for an alternative to current programs that have basically not changed in the past 25 years.”
The combination of Aspiria and LINK establishes an expanded suite of EAP offerings coupled with web-based technologies to produce a deeper and richer EAP experience for employers and their employees. LINK will operate as a division of Aspiria Corp.
Wayne Rafuse, President and Founder of LINK Employee Assistance Professionals Inc. said that “We have been looking for some time now for a national company that had a strong emphasis on the service end of the business without any success, until we became aware of Aspiria’s desire to expand through acquisition. We are now content that through our combined operations our clients will continue to receive the same excellent counselling services along with the value added services that Aspiria brings to the mix. I see a tremendous upside, for our clients, through this merger with Aspiria. Maybe now I can give serious thought to retirement knowing our clients are in good hands.”
