Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Acquires Heiser Insurance Agency, Inc.

ITASCA, Ill., Dec. 27, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG) today announced the acquisition of Heiser Insurance Agency, Inc. in Morton, Illinois.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Heiser Insurance Agency, Inc. (HIA) is a retail insurance broker providing retail property/casualty, employee benefits and risk management insurance services for their commercial clients throughout the Midwestern United States. They specialize in both the transportation and manufacturing industries.  Sam Parrott and his team will continue to operate in their current location under the direction of Thomas J. Gallagher, head of Gallagher's Midwest retail property/casualty brokerage operations.
