Apache Design Solutions Appoints Chief Financial Officer

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Apache Design Solutions, the technology leader in power integrity and noise closure for chip-package-systems (CPS) convergence, today announced the appointment of Emily Chang as Chief Financial Officer. Ms. Chang reports to Andrew Yang, CEO, and will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations.

Since joining Apache in 2004, Ms. Chang has been serving as Corporate Controller, leading global finance organization as well as information technology infrastructure and human resources for the company. During her tenure, Ms. Chang helped Apache achieve 23 quarters of record sales and maintain profitability. She also helped the company scale internationally by establishing 11 global subsidiaries. Ms. Chang successfully managed two key acquisitions, which contributes to Apache’s important strategic businesses.

Ms. Chang has over 20 years of experience in financial management, at both private and public companies, and in domestic and international management. Prior to joining Apache, Ms. Chang held senior financial positions at Cadence Design Systems including SEC reporting, financial planning, as well as audit and compliance process. She also held management position at Silicon Perspectives Corporation (now Cadence) where she helped the company successfully scale for revenue growth. Ms. Chang holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business from University of California, Los Angeles.
