Alta Resources Names Vice President of CPG Sales

PR Web

Neenah, Wisconsin (PRWEB) June 02, 2014

Wisconsin-based Alta Resources, a global provider of customer management business process outsourcing (BPO), recently announced Pamela Weinhold as vice president of CPG sales.

In her new role, Weinhold will oversee sales programs for all of Alta Resources' clients within the consumer-packaged-goods vertical, in keeping with the company's strategic-growth plan. Her responsibilities are to include strategy development and execution, in turn growing clients' sales and introducing efficiencies that will reduce their cost of sales, thus improving their profitability.

Weinhold has been with Alta Resources since 2012, during which time she served as a sales program director for several CPG clients. In that role, she helped achieve sales and profitability growth for CPG clients and Alta Resources. Specifically, she led sales plans, which included product placement, pricing, promotions and new-product launches, for global brands in the CPG space.

"I am excited about the opportunity to advance Alta Resources' Guiding Principles, particularly its focus on client results," Weinhold said. "To continually produce sales growth for clients is a responsibility undertaken only with the right people. Alta Resources has that. It also has the processes and platforms in place that will enable us to innovate and compete in the changing, growing CPG market."

Previously, Weinhold spent 26 years at Appleton Papers Inc. (now Appvion, Inc.), where she held various leadership positions: vice president of marketing and general manager of global-thermal high-value business as well as vice president of global marketing of technical papers.

"Pam's wealth of experience in global marketing and sales fortifies our sales service line and renews our commitment to the CPG space," Chairman and CEO Jim Beré said. "This strategic decision really boiled down to our phenomenal growth, which is a testament to the results our people produce daily on behalf of the world's best brands. Pam's sales leadership and results over the years are perfect examples of that. With Pam at the helm and by having dedicated leaders of both CPG sales and CPG care, we are positioned to focus our industry-specific expertise on meeting the unique demands of our clients' challenges in these core areas."

Beyond meeting those increasing client challenges, segmenting CPG sales from CPG care will enable Alta Resources to focus on innovating its clients' programs in those core areas. Weinhold will leverage the company's strategic, integrated service-line approach -- sales, care, e-commerce, back office, fulfillment -- to help clients not only innovate but also streamline their processes and, in doing so, grow their sales, reduce their costs, and better manage their brands across all online and offline touch points.

Weinhold has a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. She received her Six Sigma Green Belt in 2005.
