Allianz Life Hires Paul Kelash to Lead Corporate Communications
Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz), a leading provider of annuities and life insurance, has hired industry veteran Paul Kelash as vice president of Corporate Communications.
"Allianz Life is dedicated to providing timely and transparent communications to our employees, investors and consumers," Allianz Chief Marketing Officer Nancy Jones said. "Kelash brings a wealth of industry experience along with a deep communications background."
Kelash joins Allianz from Weber Shandwick, a top ranked public relations firm where he served as vice president of financial services. In this role, he served as the account lead for a number of financial services entities, including the American Council of Life Insurers, among others. With more than 20 years of experience, his prior roles included a variety of communications roles at financial services firms and public relations agencies.
Kelash earned his master's degree in Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia and his bachelor's degree from the University of St. Thomas. He currently serves as board chair of People Serving People, a family homeless shelter in downtown Minneapolis.
