Acentria is proud to announce the opening of their Panama City, FL office.
(PRWEB) August 16, 2010 -- A team of insurance professionals, working together for the benefit of their clients: that is Acentria. Acentria's unique structure encourages working in tandem to ensure the best overall client experience, providing the highest level of customer service at the most affordable price. Whether insuring a high-rise complex or a local restaurant chain, they offer clients the greatest number of business specific insurance options.
Acentria is proud to announce the opening of their Panama City, FL office as of July 12th, 2010. The office is located at 1007 Jenks Avenue, in the heart of the old downtown area.
Warren Middlemas III, Carter Middlemas and Kevin Heath, all natives of Bay County have joined Acentria to create an independent insurance agency built on a long standing tradition of honesty, integrity and hard work dating back to 1912.
Warren and Carter’s grandfather, Warren Middlemas, Sr., went to work for Mr. Fletcher A. Black in 1933. Upon Mr. Black’s death in 1946 Warren Middlemas, Sr. and Mr. Black’s nephew Casper Harris, purchased the agency from Mr. Black’s widow. In 1950 Warren Middlemas, Sr. bought Mr. Harris’ interests in the agency.
In 1957 John Robert Middlemas and Warren Middlemas, Jr. went to work for their father at Black Insurance Agency. Warren Middlemas III and Rob Middlemas joined the agency in the early 1980’s. Kevin Heath Joined Merriam Insurance, another local agency in 1988. These local agencies continued to grow and thrive as did Bay County throughout the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
In 1999 insurance and banking laws changed making it possible for banks to enter the insurance business and in 2000 the Black Insurance sold to a local community bank.
In 2010 Warren, Carter and Kevin saw an opportunity to create their own, unique insurance organization by forming Acentria of Panama City, a division of Acentria, Inc., with headquarters in Destin, Florida. The firm will specialize in commercial property and casualty insurance, risk management for businesses and all lines of personal insurance.
The independent insurance industry has been through many transformations since 1912. The enduring truth is that the business is built on relationships that grow from a mutual trust that is earned through hard work. Let Warren, Carter and Kevin put 100 years of insurance tradition to work for you.
