A National Life Group Company Launches a Single Premium Whole Life Product Providing Security and Guarantees*

Montpelier, VT –  October 7, 2009 - National Life Insurance Company (NLIC), member of National Life Group , has recently launched LifeBuilder 1, a whole life policy designed to provide security and guarantees for clients looking for a place to put their single sum of money for their heirs.  LifeBuilder 1 provides an income-tax free benefit for their heirs that will significantly exceed their single sum, income-tax deferral, and access to NLIC’s living benefits through no additional cost accelerated benefit riders in the event of a terminal, chronic, or critical illness.

“With LifeBuilder 1, protection, convenience, and value are at the core of this product offering,” explains Vince Vitiello, Chief Marketing Officer, National Life Group. “One policy, one payment, triple benefits… simple as that.”

New, streamlined underwriting requirements are also available with LifeBuilder 1.  For clients up to age 75, medical requirements are based on the Net Amount at Risk, rather than the face amount making it even easier for both the agent and the client.

“National Life Group understands that every client has different needs,” states Vitiello. “We will continue to build upon our product portfolio, coupled with our living benefits, offering agents and clients a broad spectrum of life insurance based solutions.”

To learn more about the product portfolios and services offered by the companies of National Life Group, please contact the Life Sales Desk at 888-297-3990.

*Guarantees are dependent upon the claims-paying ability of the issuing company.

NL LifeBuilder, form series 8310/8310ID(0306),  whole life insurance is underwritten by National Life Insurance Company.  The Accelerated Benefits Riders, form series 7490/7493/9744, are optional.   Payment of Accelerated Benefits will reduce the Cash Value and Death Benefit otherwise payable under the policy.  Receipt of Accelerated Benefits may be a taxable event and may affect your eligibility for public assistance programs.  Please consult your personal tax advisor to determine the tax status of any benefits paid under this rider and with social service agencies concerning how receipt of such a payment will affect you, your spouse and your family’s eligibility for public assistance.  Chronic illness is not available in Connecticut, Kansas, Maryland, Minnesota , New York and Washington.  Critical illness is not available in Connecticut and New Jersey.
