1 injured, 1 charged in fight

The Moultrie Observer, Ga.
By The Moultrie Observer, Ga.
McClatchy-Tribune Information Services

April 24--MOULTRIE -- A Moultrie man who got into a fight with his girlfriend's son Thursday morning was sent to the hospital with a possible broken nose.

A deputy who responded at about 1:30 a.m. to Steve Larion's residence in the 100 block 15th Street Southeast found Larion bleeding from the nose and mouth, Colquitt County Sheriff's Office reports said. Larion, who smelled of alcohol, reported that a male acquaintance beat him up.

The investigation led officers to the 486 W. Mulberry St., Funston residence of Kendall Harris, who reported that Larion and his mother had come to his residence earlier. While there, Harris said, Larion was drunk and "acting a fool."

When Larion turned the stereo volume up loud, with his children asleep, Harris told police, he had enough. He confronted Larion and they got into a fight.

Kendall, 22, was taken into custody and charged with battery, sheriff's reports said. Larion was treated at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. A report of his condition was not immediately available.
