InsuranceNewsNet’s editor-in-chief Steve Morelli accepted the min gold award for his American Injustice article (https://insurancenewsnet.com/Glenn-Neasham/INNM0312_AmericanInjustice_Morelli .pd f ) , submitted in the Investigative/Technical category for b2b magazines, as well as the gold award for the Glenn A. Neasham series of articles (https://insurancenewsnet.com/Glenn-Neasham/INN_NeashamSeriesonline%20Morelli.pdf) in the Editorial Series category, besting competing submission by national notables SUCCESS, Rodale, Inc,. SELF and Fitness magazines. The magazine was bestowed with honorable mention in two other categories, Single Article(Online),and Most Improved Publication(Editorial Print).
Entries were judged by a blue-chip panel including print media buyers, corporate marketers, publishing and marketing consultants and min staff.
FOLIO hosted the second award ceremony of the day. The annual Eddie and Ozzie Awards program is the largest awards event of its kind and honors the best in editorial (the Eddies) and design (the Ozzies) from all walks of magazine publishing. Winners across 146 categories—423 in all—were selected by nearly 300 judges for bronze, silver and gold awards from more than 2,000 submissions.
Steve Morelli accepted the program’s highest honors for in the b2b Full Issue in the Banking/Business/Finance category for InsuranceNewsNet’s June 2012 edition (http://www.insurancenewsnetmagazine.com/june12/), beating out CFO magazine. Morelli also accepted a silver Ozzie award in the B2B Best Overall Design category for InsuranceNewsNet’s July 2011 issue (http://www.insurancenewsnetmagazine.com/july11/)
