International Benefits Executive Ken Vaughan Joins Pacific Resources as Senior VP, Global Benefits
CHICAGO, IL – Pacific Resources – a leading employee benefits advisory firm servicing large, predominantly Fortune-ranked corporations – announced that Ken Vaughan has joined the company as Senior Vice President of Global Benefits. He joins Pacific Resources from Cigna International where he was living in Shanghai, China as Managing Director of the Asia Pacific Region.
In his new role, Vaughan will be responsible for Pacific Resources’ Global Benefits practice, which will help clients assess and evaluate their global solutions and their related vendors across the world to ensure they meet the clients’ unique needs. Vaughan will also be responsible for East Coast sales for Pacific Resources.

Vaughan has more than 20 years of group insurance experience, first as an underwriter and then through sales and management roles at CNA and The Hartford. He then joined Cigna to run its National Accounts Sales and Client Management division as Senior Vice President. Vaughan joined Cigna International in 2009 to serve as Senior VP, International Global Sales for Cigna. In 2011, he moved to Shanghai as the Managing Director of Cigna International in Asia Pacific where he led the company’s expansion strategy and market entry into China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Australia.
