USAA Leverages NEOS To Propel New Distribution of Annuities
USAA Life Insurance Company, a provider of a wide range of insurance products and services and NEOS, a management consulting and delivery services firm specializing in insurance and financial services, recently worked to facilitate USAA's expansion into third-party distribution.
Previously, USAA products were available only through direct channels. The end of March concluded the first full quarter of a USAA Single Premium Immediate Annuity (SPIA) being accessible through Fidelity Insurance Network®--the company's first third-party distribution platform. Leveraging NEOS to stand up and support the delivery of the new product and distribution channel enables USAA to continue and extend its legendary commitment to service.
The progressive model built with NEOS expands USAA's capacity and allows the USAA team to drive new distribution channels while focusing on core objectives around member service and employee well-being without compromise.
Since early last year, the NEOS team has worked both at the USAA campus in San Antonio and remotely from its headquarters in Hartford, CT to lead multiple workstreams of the product and third party distribution launch, including overall program management, technology ecosystem, testing, data and analytics, and business readiness.
NEOS CEO Ernst Renner stated, "It is an honor to serve USAA and help a client with such incredibly high standards for its members and consumers achieve continued success."
