Three Members Elected To America’s Health Insurance Plans Board Of Directors
WASHINGTON, Nov. 13 -- America's Health Insurance Plans issued the following news release:
America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) announced that three new members have been elected to the AHIP Board of Directors, effective November 13, 2018:
* Michael Carson, President and CEO, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care
* Craig E. Samitt, MD, President and CEO, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota
* Michael Schrader, CEO, CalOptima
These new members join other esteemed colleagues serving on AHIP's Board, listed here(https://www.ahip.org/about-us/board-of-directors/).

"Together, we will continue to promote solutions that break down barriers and ensure people get the care they need, when they need it, at a cost they can afford.
The AHIP Board will be led in 2019 by David Cordani, President and CEO of Cigna Corporation. Cordani succeeds Bernard J. Tyson, Chairman and CEO of Kaiser Permanente.
