By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Marketing Weekly News -- Standard Insurance Company (The Standard) announced a series of leadership team and organizational changes to support its strategies for future innovation and growth. The company also announced that Katherine Durham, vice president, Individual Disability Insurance and Corporate Marketing and Communications, will retire in May.

"I'm pleased to announce these leadership changes because they represent the dividends of our focus on leadership development," said Greg Ness, chairman, president and chief executive officer of The Standard. "Having a pipeline of leaders of this caliber allows us to quickly pivot to meet the evolving needs of our customers and a rapidly changing benefits marketplace," Ness said.

Floyd Chadee, currently senior vice president and chief financial officer, will assume leadership of the company's M&A strategy, the Individual Disability Insurance business line, as well as The Standard's relationship with parent organization, Meiji Yasuda Life Insurance Company.

Dawn McMaster, currently vice president of Individual Disability Insurance, will assume a new role as vice president, Guaranteed Standard Issue Business Development, and will report to Rick Johnstone, vice president, Employee Benefit Sales.

Jeremy Horner, currently assistant vice president, Corporate Accounting, will become assistant vice president, Individual Disability Insurance, and report to Floyd Chadee.

Sally Manafi, currently vice president and corporate actuary, has been promoted to vice president and chief risk officer.

Rob Erickson, currently vice president, Corporate Finance and Controller, has been promoted to vice president and chief accounting officer.

Corporate Communications will become part of a broader corporate organization that includes Public Affairs, Government Relations and Philanthropy, reporting to Justin Delaney, vice president & associate counsel. Amy Malagamba, second vice president, will continue to lead the Corporate Communications team.

Dina Khoury, currently assistant vice president, Corporate Marketing Strategy and Planning, has been promoted to vice president, Marketing, and will lead the corporate marketing team following Katherine Durham's retirement.
