The Karen Miller Agency Embarks on Charity Drive to Build Brighter Futures for Underprivileged Children in Alabama

PR Web

Helena, AL (PRWEB) July 21, 2017

The Karen Miller Agency, a central Alabama firm that offers insurance assistance and financial planning services to communities in the greater Birmingham area, is joining the Chris Hammond Youth Foundation in a charity drive that promises to provide resources to underprivileged young people in the region.

The Chris Hammond Youth Foundation maintains athletic facilities in rural areas that allow children to enjoy sporting events while learning about leadership, community, and teamwork. Former Major League Baseball star Chris Hammond is co-chair of the foundation with his wife Lynn, and they are both committed to ensuring children in Alabama can develop character and grow to appreciate hard work and dedication.

"At Karen Miller Agency, we believe that it is important to provide underprivileged children with a healthy environment, where they can develop their athletic abilities, and fulfill their dreams," says Karen Miller, founder and director of the Karen Miller Agency.

Miller and her team are working to foster relationships with area families, educators, and policy makers as they help generate publicity for the charity effort to support the Chris Hammond Youth Foundation. A full page article discussing the event is due out in the upcoming issue of "Our Hometown," a monthly online periodical published by the Karen Miller Agency: http://karenmilleragency.com/magazines/.

This is the second major charity drive launched by the Karen Miller Agency since the firm became a regional participant in the "Agents of Change" charitable support network. Future efforts to assist additional Birmingham area charities are already being planned by Miller and her team.

All those who would like to join the Karen Miller Agency and the Chris Hammond Youth Foundation during the regional charity drive to provide sporting events for underprivileged kids in Alabama are encouraged to get involved by visiting this page: http://karenmilleragency.com/causes/brighter-future-underprivileged-kids-alabama/. All new charity events sponsored by the Karen Miller Agency will be listed on the firm's Community Causes roster, available for bookmarks here: http://karenmilleragency.com/community/.
