The Hartford Expands Its Major League Baseball Presence With Five Additional Team Sponsorships

Insurer remains presenting sponsor of the Mariano Rivera American League Reliever of the Year and Trevor Hoffman National League Reliever of the Year Awards

HARTFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Hartford has expanded its roster of Major League Baseball (MLB) sponsorships to include five additional teams. New to the company’s 2016 lineup are the Atlanta Braves, Baltimore Orioles, Colorado Rockies, Minnesota Twins and Pittsburgh Pirates, bringing the total to 10 teams in addition to the national MLB sponsorship.

In addition to the national MLB agreement signed in 2015, The Hartford signed sponsorship deals with the Kansas City Royals, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers.

The Hartford’s MLB sponsorship also included the presenting sponsorship of the Mariano Rivera American League Reliever of the Year and Trevor Hoffman National League Reliever of the Year Awards. The two MLB greats for whom the awards are named after also serve as brand ambassadors for the company.
