Sen. Scott Introduces Flood Insurance Relief Act

WASHINGTON, May 26 -- Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., introduced the "Flood Insurance Relief Act" on April 17, 2024. The text of the bill was released on May 25.

S. 4143. A bill to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 to provide an above-the-line deduction for flood insurance premiums; to the Committee on Finance.

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the "Flood Insurance Relief Act".

SEC. 2. Deduction for flood insurance premiums.
