Sen. Rubio Introduces Bill to Establish Mortgage Insurance Program for First Responders

WASHINGTON, Oct. 9 -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., has introduced legislation (S. 2981) to "amend the National Housing Act to establish a mortgage insurance program for first responders."

The bill was introduced on Oct. 7 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Jon Ossoff, D-Ga. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
