Schwab ETF OneSource™ Expands Offering of Commission-Free ETFs

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Charles Schwab announced today that Schwab ETF OneSource™, the program that offers the most commission-free1 Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) anywhere in the industry, has added 15 ETFs to its roster. With these additions, the program allows investors and advisors to buy and sell 245 ETFs covering 69 Morningstar Categories with $0 online commissions, no enrollment requirements and no early redemption fees – key differentiators for investors comparing Schwab ETF OneSource to other commission-free ETF offerings.

Beginning July 6, 2017, 15 ETFs from nine existing ETF OneSource providers became newly available to Schwab clients with $0 online trade commissions. Additions to the program include a variety of Morningstar categories such as High Yield Bond, Energy Limited Partnership and Diversified Emerging Markets. Sixteen leading ETF providers participate in the Schwab ETF OneSource program including: ALPS Advisors Inc., Deutsche Asset Management, Direxion, ETF Securities, Global X Funds, Guggenheim Investments, IndexIQ, John Hancock Investments, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, OppenheimerFunds, PIMCO, PowerShares, State Street SPDR® ETFs, USCF, WisdomTree and Charles Schwab Investment Management.

Schwab ETF OneSource Assets Grew by 22% in First Five Months of 20172

Assets in Schwab ETF OneSource reached $84 billion as of May 31, 2017, growing by 22% in the first five months of 2017. May year-to-date flows into ETFs in the program are $10.8 billion, representing 52% of the total ETF flows at Schwab.
