Res. Comm. Gonzalez-Colon Introduces Bill on Insurance Policies

WASHINGTON, April 30 -- Res. Comm. Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon, D-P.R., has introduced legislation (H.R. 5651) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to exempt from the foreign insurer excise tax certain insurance policies issued by United States territory and possession insurers."
The bill was introduced on April 27 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Darren Soto, D-Fla., Pete King, R-N.Y., and Robert A. Brady, D-Pa. It was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
