Res. Comm. Gonzalez-Colon Introduces Bill on Exemption From Foreign Insurer Excise Tax

WASHINGTON, March 19 -- Res. Comm. Jenniffer Gonzalez-Colon, R-P.R., has introduced legislation (H.R. 1968) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to exempt from the foreign insurer excise tax certain insurance policies issued by U.S. territory and possession insurers."

The bill was introduced on March 17. It was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
