Rep. Thompson Introduces Bill on Health Insurance Tax Credit

WASHINGTON, March 18 -- Rep. Mike Thompson, D-Calif., has introduced legislation (H.R. 1589) to amend the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 "to adjust the phaseout of the health insurance tax credit for geographic variations in the cost-of-living."
The bill was introduced on March 16 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Anna G. Eshoo, D-Calif. It was referred to the House Ways and Means Committee.
