Rep. Sanford Introduces Bill to Provide Private Health Insurance Reform

WASHINGTON, Feb. 17 -- Rep. Mark Sanford, R-S.C., has introduced legislation (H.R. 1072) to "repeal provisions of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act and provide private health insurance reform."

The bill was introduced on Feb. 15 and was co-sponsored by Reps. Jeff Duncan, R-S.C., Mark Meadows, R-N.C., Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., Thomas A. Garrett Jr., R-Va., and Alex X. Mooney, R-W.Va. It was jointly referred to the House Energy and Commerce, Ways and Means, Education and the Workforce and Judiciary committees.
