Rep. Rubio Introduces Bill to Prevent Health Insurance Issuers’ Taxpayer Bailout

WASHINGTON, Jan. 22 -- Rep. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., has introduced legislation (S. 147) to prevent a taxpayer bailout of health insurance issuers.
The bill was introduced on Jan. 17 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., John McCain, R-Ariz., Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Tom Cotton, R-Ark. The legislation was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.
