Rep. Rochester Introduces Bill to Address Social Determinants of Health Under Medicaid

WASHINGTON, Oct. 9 -- Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester, D-Del., has introduced legislation (H.R. 4621) to "require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to issue and disseminate guidance to States to clarify strategies to address social determinants of health under the Medicaid program and the Children's Health Insurance Program."
The bill was introduced on Oct. 8 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Gus Bilirakis, R-Fla. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
