Rep. Donovan Introduces Bill on Flood Insurance Premium Rates

WASHINGTON, Oct. 28 -- Rep. Daniel M. Donovan, R-N.Y., has introduced legislation (H.R. 4154) to "delay any increase in flood insurance premium rates under the National Flood Insurance Program on properties located in flood hazard areas during any re- mapping of such areas by the Federal Emergency Management Agency."
The bill was introduced on Oct. 26. It was referred to the House Financial Services Committee.
