Rep. Dean Introduces Flood History Information Act

WASHINGTON, March 25 -- Rep. Madeleine Dean, D-Pa., introduced the "Flood History Information Act" on March 5, 2024. The text of the bill was released on March 23.

H.R. 7537. A bill to provide for the disclosure and sharing of certain policy and claims information under the National Flood Insurance Program, and for other purposes; to the Committee on Financial Services.

The bill is cosponsored by Reps. Andrew R. Garbarino, R-N.Y., and Jennifer Wexton, D-Va.

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the "Flood History Information Act of 2024".

SEC. 2. Data exchange program.
