H.R. 6810 - Health Care Protection Act - Provides a COBRA subsidy for out-of-work Americans so that individuals pay the same amount for COBRA coverage as they did for employer-sponsored health insurance. H.R. 19 - Lower Costs, More Cures Act - Unlike the partisan H.R. 3 which institutes government price controls that stifle innovation, H.R. 19 includes over 40 bipartisan proposal that encourages innovation for new cures, increases transparency at the pharmacy, and stops the subsidization of other developed countries' health care systems through stronger trade agreements.
