WASHINGTON, July 25 -- Rep. Buddy Carter, R-Ga., issued the following statement after the Senate voted to move forward with debate on legislation to repeal Obamacare:
"While we're not across the finish line yet, the Senate's decision to move forward with the repeal of Obamacare today is a strong step in the right direction and a bit of hope for Americans trapped in this failed experiment.
"Now, I urge my colleagues in the Senate to work together just as we did in the House to finally end the Obamacare train wreck once and for all.
"Americans across the country deserve accessible, affordable, and patient-centered care. We must deliver the choice and control of health care back to patients, and I look forward to the Senate getting the job done."
