Rep. Aguilar Introduces Bill to Increase Principal Obligation Limits for Mortgage Insurance

WASHINGTON, Nov. 11 -- Rep. Pete Aguilar, D-Calif., has introduced legislation (H.R. 5915) to "increase the principal obligation limits for mortgage insurance under the National Housing Act for residences in eligible metropolitan cities and urban counties."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 9 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Mark Amodei, R-Nev. It was referred to the House Financial Services Committee.
