Please note: This solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Pristina will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website when it is available .The requirement is for providing of health insurance services to the locally hired employees of the U.S. Mission located in Pristina, Kosovo. The estimated number of employees is 434 with approximately 957 eligible dependents. Please note these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via the FedBizOpps. Note: The response date in this synopsis is not a firm date. Please see the RFP for the actual date. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
