The newest version of myMoneyGuide®, is poised to help even more consumers develop financial plans to meet their retirement goals. The online guided planning experience from PIEtech℠, the creators of MoneyGuidePro®, is available through financial advisors, firms, or employers, and is designed to help them deliver more plans to a much larger and diverse audience. It's an efficient and consumer-friendly tool to help guide existing clients, new prospects and employees through the creation of a financial plan.

The newest release further enhances the participant's experience with:

  • All of the latest MoneyGuidePro® 4.0 upgrades, the industry's leading financial planning software.
  • 112 "Lab" sessions available per day, including additional demographics such as government employees, military members and even those a long way off from retirement.
  • The capability for participants to begin the process immediately or to schedule their planning session in the future.

myMoneyGuide® is unique because it helps guide individuals as they build a quality financial plan focused on their expectations, concerns and goals - and ultimately better prepares the individual(s) for a discussion with an advisor. Consumers are able to engage when and where they want, and can move at their own pace while spending as much time in the tool as they like with live assistance along the way. Instead of simply providing another piece of software, myMoneyGuide® provides on demand instruction that encourages the participant to complete a quality financial plan, and further provides real time chat support to answer technical questions during the process. "This tool is designed to help all types of clients with different needs and goals. Most of all, it's designed to help clients start planning for retirement and feel more educated and prepared. Through this experience, clients also gain an understanding of the value that professional advice can add to their retirement planning," said Kevin Knull.

The software provides tips and estimates along the way, helping clients learn about important elements of planning while defining their financial priorities. Additionally, myMoneyGuide® helps clients include important elements that can financially derail retirement plans such as the cost of health care in retirement. Two of the most engaging features, Play Zone® and What Are You Afraid Of?, allow clients to change things that they can control, such as retirement age, spending on individual goals and savings, while addressing those variables they cannot control, such as a reduction in pension or Social Security payments, inflation or premature death, and then see the impact to their plan in real time. Both of these features help clients focus on what changes or trade-offs they might need to make to feel more confident about their plan.

Access to the interactive planning tool is only available through an invitation from a financial advisor, firm, or employer, and is not available to the public directly. Individuals that would like access to the system should contact their financial advisor or employer to request an invitation.
