Pennsylvania Republican Party Issues Statement Supporting Repeal of Obamacare
Targeted News Service (Press Releases)
HARRISBURG, Pa., March 14 -- The Pennsylvania Republican Party issued the following statement by Chairman Val DiGiorgio supporting House Republicans as they start to repeal and replace Obamacare:
"Obamacare has failed the American people. It's only a matter of time before this government mandated system completely collapses. We've seen 53 percent premium increases in Pennsylvania -- those types of increases are not sustainable.
The plan developed by House Republicans is the result of an inclusive and transparent process. Not only does the plan lower premiums by 10 percent, it reduces the federal deficit by hundreds of billions of dollars. Americans will finally be given flexibility and real choice. I am proud to stand with Republicans as we fix a broken healthcare system."
