NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Pacific Life today announced the following senior vice president and vice president promotions, effective April 1, 2018.

Greg Reber to Senior Vice President, Chief Distribution Officer, Life Insurance Division
As senior vice president and chief distribution officer, Mr. Reber will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and management of all aspects of the distribution, sales and marketing functions, including the independent producer network, financial advisor network, key account marketing, and meeting & event planning. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Central Oklahoma and resides in San Clemente, California.

Tim Shaheen to Senior Vice President, Strategy, Innovation and IT, Life Insurance Division
As senior vice president, Mr. Shaheen will be responsible for setting the strategic direction and management of all aspects of the operations, technology, and innovation functions, identifying and prioritizing key strategic initiatives, and presiding over the programs, activities and functions that execute those initiatives. He is a graduate of San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s degree in business administration. Mr. Shaheen resides in Laguna Niguel, California.

Juan Martinez to Vice President, Business and Technology Services, Corporate
As vice president, Mr. Martinez will lead the business and technology services functions in corporate IT, including developing strategic plans and effective delivery of program and project management, finance, purchasing, licensing, service and access management, service desk, and desktop services. He holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the University of Phoenix and a master’s in finance from Pepperdine University. Mr. Martinez resides in Corona, California.
