OLD REPUBLIC SURETY COMPANY OPENS CONTRACT SURETY BRANCH OFFICE IN BATON ROUGE, LA

BATON ROUGE, La., Aug. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Old Republic Surety Company announced today that it has opened a new contract surety branch office in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

"Local underwriting expertise in markets across the country is an essential part of our continued growth in the contract bond marketplace."

Becky McDaniel will head the Baton Rouge, LA branch location as Bond Manager. McDaniel has more than 20 years of surety industry experience. McDaniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Louisiana State University.

"Having an office in Baton Rouge will strengthen our existing agency relationships, and enable us to expand our network of appointed agencies throughout the Southern territory," states Jerry Topliff, Senior Vice President of Underwriting, Old Republic Surety Company. This new office is one of several contract branch offices Old Republic Surety has opened this year.
