NEW YORK FED AND DALLAS FED RELEASE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ON THE PRIVATE CREDIT SURVEY

The following information was released by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York:
Following on the recent announcement to survey the private credit market, the Federal Reserve Banks of Dallas and New York have released a set of Frequently Asked Questions to address inquiries about the survey scope and content.
The forthcoming survey will explore trends in the U.S. private credit direct lending market, and produce insight into the availability of credit, credit provision, the evolution of lending standards, and the implications for the broader economy over time.
The survey is expected to launch following the end of Q3 2026, with publication of aggregate level findings anticipated in Q1 2027.
