CARSON CITY, Nev., June 29 -- The Nevada Democratic Party issued the following statement by spokesperson Stewart Boss
Last night, while news was breaking that health insurers were fleeing Nevada's health exchange because of federal uncertainty and instability, Republican Senator Dean Heller was in Washington attending a lavish $35,000-per-person fundraiser for President Donald Trump's 2020 re-election campaign at Trump International Hotel.
"This is why Nevada voters don't trust Dean Heller to do the right thing on health care or any other critical issue.
"The same week he came back to the table on the GOP's toxic health care repeal, Senator Heller showed up at a $35,000-per-person fundraiser to rub elbows with wealthy donors and help kick off Donald Trump's 2020 re-election campaign.
"Dean Heller's pro-Trump voting record and his allegiance to Washington Republicans are failing Nevada families across our state."
