NAHU’s Capitol Conference Addresses Healthcare Reform

WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- The National Association of Health Underwriters issued the following news release:

Healthcare policymakers and leaders will address the future of health reform under the new Administration at the National Association of Health Underwriters' (NAHU) 28th Annual Capitol Conference. More than 800 health insurance agents, brokers and consultants are expected to attend the conference, held at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill Feb. 26-28. NAHU members will discuss policy issues with their elected representatives on improving market stability and enacting sensible legislation that promotes patient-centered, value-based and high-quality healthcare for American workers and their families.

"It is important that we continue to provide our members with the most updated information and tools they need about health reform under the new Administration, while giving them a voice to have an impact on policy decisions that have yet to be made," said NAHU CEO Janet Trautwein. "We are educating agents and brokers so they know what to expect and how to best prepare and assist their clients."
