Medline Expands Footprint in Texas with Opening of Surgical Procedure Tray Manufacturing Facility in Laredo

New plant marks first healthcare manufacturing facility in the city

NORTHFIELD, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Medline today announced the opening of a 250,000-square foot manufacturing facility in the Killam Industrial Park in Laredo, Texas, expanding its Texas footprint to more than 1.5 million square feet of production and distribution space in the state. Local officials and many of the company’s new employees gathered earlier today to commemorate the opening of the facility.

The Laredo plant is one of four Medline facilities in North America that specializes in manufacturing custom surgical procedure trays that enable hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers to optimize operating room inventory, improve efficiency and drive improved patient outcomes.
