Ms. Selter will be joined by Victoria Meakin, President of Ocrolus, Inc.

At NAMPI, John P. Crouse, Vice President of Health Services at MAXIMUS, will lead a panel session titled "State - Vendor Cooperation: Making Program Integrity Projects Successful." The discussion will highlight how the Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) Program Integrity team and MAXIMUS overcame challenges and obstacles to ultimately implement a successful, cutting-edge Provider Screening & Enrollment project. His panel will include Peg Loos, Program Director at MAXIMUS, and members of the Nebraska DHHS Program Integrity team, including Anne Harvey, Administrator; Erica Brooks, Program Specialist; and Melissa Haecker, Fraud & Abuse Investigator.

At HCBS, Barbara Selter will participate in a panel session titled "Leveraging Digital Platforms, Coaching, & Contact Centers to Improve Health, Overcome Loneliness, & Encourage Employment in HCBS programs." The session will examine how bringing people, process and technology together in state HCBS programs can achieve cost reductions while advancing beneficiary health and competitive employment to overcome social isolation and promote community integration. Ms. Selter will present alongside Michael Garbus, Vice President of Global Health Business Development and Solutions at MAXIMUS, as well as members from Mozzaz, including Linda Lusis, Vice President of National Accounts, and Rini Gahir, Co-Founder.

Also presenting at HCBS is Nancy Shanley, Vice President of Consulting and Policy Analysis at MAXIMUS, who will lead a session titled "PASRR and No Wrong Door: Moving Beyond Compliance." This presentation will showcase a cross-state view of aggregate PASRR process, operational, clinical, quality, and outcome data that can be used to help maximize the return on investment of PASRR data for the benefit of the individuals served. Ms. Shanley will be joined by Partners of Sage Squirrel Consulting, including Yonda Snyder (former Director of the Indiana Division of Aging) and Debbie Pierson (former Director and Deputy Director of the Indiana Division of Aging); as well as Vanessa Convard, Indiana PASRR Manager, Indiana Department of Aging.

"MAXIMUS is committed to partnering with our government clients to improve the health, wellness and quality of life of vulnerable and aging populations," commented Dr. Michael Weiner, Chief Medical Officer of MAXIMUS. "We look forward to sharing how states can leverage modern technologies to enhance their long-term care services and deliver accurate provider screening and enrollment services."

The annual MES Conference will take place August 13-16 at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon (mesconference.org). The 34th annual NAMPI Conference will take place August 26-29 at the JW Marriott in Austin, Texas (nampi.net).
