Local Allstate agent Zach Davidson does what he needs to take care of his customers

Times-Tribune (Corbin, KY)

April 05-- Apr. 5--CORBIN -- Allstate Business Development Associate Zach Davidson said every day is different for him and that's one of the things he likes about his career.

The Allstate office in Corbin, located on Cumberland Falls Highway, opened in December. While the branch is a one-man show for now, Davidson said when the business grows, the staff will eventually expand.

Davidson graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in sports business but got started in sales just after college and hasn't looked back. He's been in the insurance arena since 2010.

When it comes to sales, Davidson said he likes being able to present community members with the information that will really help them.

"I really want to make sure that if in a bad situation, you're taken care of," he said. "The goal of insurance is to put your life back to where it was before the accident."

Providing peace of mind to customers is essential for Davidson and he also enjoys the challenge of finding those customers. Davidson said he prides himself on taking the time to explain to costumers what they are getting with each coverage plan.

When asked why Allstate, Davidson is quick to mention the company's long standing history and background.

As mentioned on the company website, Allstate was founded in 1931 and has pioneered the insurance industry. Americans have trusted Allstate to help protect their families and their belongings for over 80 years.

Based in Northbrook, Illinois, Allstate is the nation's largest publicly held personal lines insurer. Its leaders, employees and agency owners have been an integral part of Allstate's heritage.

Allstate's history began in the fall of 1930 when Sears, Roebuck & Co. President and Board Chairman, General Robert E. Wood, got the idea to start an auto insurance company and sell insurance by mail.

Davidson said it's also about claim satisfaction with Allstate.

"They've got a guarantee out there that I really like," he said. "If you have a claim and you're not completely satisfied with it, they will give you every dollar of your premium back that you paid for the last six months or year."

As a local agent, Davidson said he has the reign to do what he needs to do to take care of his customers.

Today, Allstate is reinventing protection to help consumers better prepare for tomorrow and protect what matters most.

Auto, home and life insurance are available for purchase. Davidson notes that auto includes motorhomes, motorcycles and off-road vehicles.

For a person to buy life insurance, Davidson said one must be selfless. The biggest thing with life insurance for him is explaining to young people who are healthy that they need they it.

Being an Allstate customer means having access to an experienced local agent like Davidson. From helping you find available discounts to talking you through your coverage options, the local agents are here to help you stay protected through every stage in life. Agents don't just go above and beyond for you and your loved ones, they're also dedicated to doing good in their communities.

True to the Allstate vision, Davidson volunteers his time coaching several sports through several local organizations.

Davidson said when people buy an insurance policy they are essentially buying a relationship with him.

"If something were to happen we're going to get life back on track for you," Davidson said. "I want you to walk into my office and feel the most comfortable and walk away knowing if something happens, I have you covered"
