Juan Llera, safety and risk coordinator for Keys Energy Services, was recently recognized as the Risk Management Professional of the Year for 2022 by Preferred Governmental Insurance Trust.
Chris Kittleson, director of loss control technical services for Preferred, presented Llera with the award during the KEYS Utility Board meeting on Wednesday, April 13.
“During his tenure with KEYS Juan has demonstrated consistent and outstanding performance in the practice of risk management,” Kittleson said. “Juan’s numerous accomplishments as it pertains to safety and risk management would be best summarized by the utility being the recipient of the American Public Power Association and Florida Municipal Electric Association firstplace safety awards.”
This award is given annually to one of Preferred’s 400 qualified members.
