Keene chamber hosting 16th annual expo

Cleburne Times-Review (TX)

Feb. 22-- Feb. 22--The Keene Chamber of Commerce is hosting a free Business Expo, Health Fair and Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the Leiske-Pultar Gymnasium on the campus of Southwestern Adventist University in Keene.

In it's 16th year, Keene Chamber President Paul Gnadt said the free expo is a great opportunity for Keene area residents to introduce themselves to services in the area, meet and talk face-to-face with the business owners

Presented by Keene's Type A and Type B boards, the event teams up with SWAU's department of nursing to provide health screenings and Texas WorkForce Commission to provide job search information.

Entertainment for the event is scheduled as:

--10:30 a.m. -- Southwestern Adventist University Acrobatics Team.

--11 a.m. -- Doug Peterson Unicycles.

--11:30 a.m. -- EBB Dance Studio .

--Noon -- Keene Adventist Elementary School Marimbas.

--12:30 p.m. -- Eden's Echo.

--1 p.m. -- SWAU Department of Music.

--1:30 p.m. EBB Dance Studio.

There will also be free seminars on social security, basic finances, wills and trusts, vegetarian cooking and end of life planning:

--11 a.m. -- "Social Security."

--11:30 a.m. -- "Wills and Trusts."

--Noon -- "End of Life Planning."

--12:30 p.m. -- "Basic Retirement."

--1 p.m. -- "Vegetarian Cooking" by Dina Reyes of 360 Restaurant.

There will be bounce houses and Miss Aimee's Balloons for the kids, as well. Dr. Ted Benke will also have his hearing van be on site.
