J Thomas & Associates Initiates Local Charity Event to Provide Animal-Assisted Therapeutic Support for Returning Veterans

J Thomas & Associates Insurance Agency, a locally owned insurance firm that provides coverage to families and businesses throughout southeastern Texas, is initiating a community-driven charity event that will gather funds and support for the A Place For Dreamers organization in Houston.

A Place For Dreamers is a non-profit organization that uses animal-assisted therapy along with a wide range of daily exercise and activities to re-acclimate returning veterans back into society and the private sector. A full range of programs including horseback riding, fishing, yoga, spin classes, and aerobics are utilized to calm minds and spirits and release the stress that many veterans bring home.

"Our returning veterans are heroes that have earned the support of our entire community, and this charity event will help many veterans and their families return to a normal, peaceful life," states Jason Thomas, founder and director of J Thomas & Associates Insurance Agency.

A Place For Dreamers is only the latest of more than half a dozen Texas charities that have been recently supported by J Thomas & Associates Insurance Agency.
