Ivanka Trump turns 39 on the campaign trail

The first daughter entered the final year of her thirties on the campaign trail Friday, with stops planned in Midwestern battleground states that would greatly help her dad’s chances of staying in the White House until she’s 43.

Among those wishing the first daughter a happy 39th birthday was the official website of the GOP.

“RT to wish @IvankaTrump a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!” the committee tweeted to its 2.5 million followers.

Ivanka announced on Twitter Thursday that she would be spending her big day in Wisconsin and Michigan.

“The best birthday gift this year is to get @realDonaldTrump re-elected for FOUR MORE YEARS!” she tweeted.

President Trump narrowly won those states in 2016, but 2020 polls show him trailing in both of them with only four days left before polls close.

Right on cue, Trump supporters wished the birthday girl well while others saw nothing to celebrate.

“Lucky you, you get to celebrate another birthday yet over 225k dead Americans will never celebrate one again,” tweeted one critic of the Trump administration’s handling of the pandemic.

Others on Twitter wondered how many of the children separated from their parents at the U.S. border with Mexico spent their birthdays with their families this year.

One Ivanka fan wished the first daughter well, then made a big prediction.

“Heartiest birthday greetings to the future President of USA,” that supporter tweeted.

Ivanka made her position on abortion rights publicly known Thursday, telling Real Clear Politics, “I am pro-life, and unapologetically so.”

The mother of three kicked off her birthday with a stop in Detroit, where she was joined by GOP chairwoman Rona McDaniel. Ivanka retweeted an endorsement for her father from former Green Bay Packers star Brett Favre.
