Jasa Raharja was established to assist the victims of land, sea and air transportation accidents. It manages a highly dispersed network of more than 150 branch offices, representative offices and points of service, and nearly 1300 Department of Motor Vehicles locations across the country. Many of Jasa Raharja’s branches are located in remote, underserved areas of the country.

The organization is undergoing a significant digital transformation to improve citizens’ experience with its services. This includes plans to facilitate e-payments through e-Samsat, an integrated online administrative system that brings together state-owned police, insurance, DMV and local revenue offices, in cooperation with state and private banks, to accelerate public services.

Jasa Raharja’s participation demands a more flexible business model and greater agility to manage change at scale – something the organization’s legacy infrastructure couldn’t support.
