Education and the Workforce Committee Chairwoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC) issued the following statement regarding the Biden administration's latest push to strip health coverage options away from Americans:
"Evidently, the thought of Americans exercising choice when it comes to picking their own health insurance makes the Biden administration quake in its boots.
"The latest rules proposed by DOL, HHS, and Treasury threaten to reduce coverage options and increase the number of uninsured Americans - all while propping up the costly, rigid plans offered under the Affordable Care Act.
"Taking a hatchet to consumer choice won't help Americans secure the level of coverage they want at rates they can afford - and the Biden administration is too blinded by its own political chicanery to realize this."
