This CRS rating reflects the Township's commitment to floodplain management and the implementation of practices that exceed the minimum requirements of the NFIP. By maintaining this rating, Hamiltonian residents are still eligible for a 15 percent reduction in their flood insurance premiums. Residents who live in areas below base flood elevation who do not have a PRP or MRP may also be able to save 5 percent on insurance premiums.
